DEATH COMES SUDDENLY TO MRS. MISSOURI A. ADAMS

Well Known Lady Passed Away at her Home on Main Street Tuesday Afternoon

Mrs. Missouri A. Adams, widow of the late S. K. Adams, died at her home, No 315 Main Street shortly after twelve o'clock Tuesday afternoon, her death, which was sudden and unexpected, having proven a most severe shock to her family and friends.

Mrs. Adams had been suffering from a sprained ligament for several days, but her condition did not assume a serious character until a late hour Monday night, when she was suddenly seized with a stroke of paralysis, and grew gradually worse until the end came.

Deceased, who was a most estimable Christian lady, was fifty-nine years of age, and is survived by two sons, Messrs. Topp and Clarence Barham, both of whom reside in Columbus, and three daughters, Mrs. W. P. Lagrone of Winona, Mrs. W. J. Lynch and Miss Jessie Adams of this city. The Commercial joins the numerous friends of the family in extending sympathy in their affliction.

The funeral occurred at the Christian church at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, having been conducted by the pastor, Elder J. N. Harker. Interment was in Friendship Cemetery.
