Actress and writer. The younger, blonde sister of famed silent film "vamp" Theda Bara. Film credits included Buster Keaton's "Seven Chances" (1925, as the mother of the underage girl) and Lon Chaney's "Tell It to the Marines" (1926, as a Navy nurse). She later found better success writing film scenarios, penning the story for the documentary "Samarang" (1933), filmed in Malaysia with an all-native cast and directed by her husband, Ward Wing, and "Hate in Paradise" (1938). She died at the luxurious Marycrest Manor in Culver City, where the nuns remembered her as a "beautiful lady in every sense of the word."
