Paul Edison, age 49 of Rockwall, TX, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness on June 4, 2012. He was born May 5, 1963, in Dallas, TX, to Ray and Dena (Spence) Edison. Paul was the owner/mechanic of Garland Safety Lane and a member of Farmersville Church of Christ. He was an active pilot for Challenge Air, helping to fulfill the dreams of special needs children, and a former member of Garland R.A.C.E.S.
He is survived by his wife: Sandy Edison, son: James Edison and daughter: Teri Edison, all of Rockwall, TX; parents: Ray and Dena Edison of Garland, TX; sister: Tracie Walkup & husband Jim of Trumbull, CT; nieces: Sarah and Lauren Walkup; nephew: John Walkup; and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Centerville Road Church of Christ, 1102 E. Centerville Road, Garland, TX, with Randall Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Rockwall, TX. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
