First Bishop of Dublin, sometimes listed as Donatus or Donat. According to an old tradition, presently disputed, he was was consecrated by Æthelnoth, Archbishop of Canterbury. He founded the Holy Trinity church, commonly called Christ Church, where he was buried upon his death in 1074.
