The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on June 17, 2011: "Amy Allen, age 52 of Lawrenceville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Saturday, June 18, 2011 in the Lawrenceville Stateroom of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. She was full of love for everyone and had a masters degree from University of Georgia in Psychometry. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis McPheeters. Mrs. Allen is survived by Husband of 27 years: David Allen, Jr; Children: Emily Allen; David Allen, III all of Lawrenceville; Father: Dr. Harold McPheeters, Sandy Springs; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: David & Ginger McPheeters, Lithonia; Tom & Cindy McPheeters, South Carolina; Sister & Brother-in-law: Doris & Kevin Guidry, Braselton; Several nieces & nephews.
