Miss Sadie Ackerman was the guest at honor at a surprise party at the residence of her parents, 202 Fourth Street, a few evenings ago. The Irving Quartet of New York rendered selections, and Edgar L. Peet gave banjo solos. Messrs. Cox and Woodburn contributed mandolin and guitar duets, and Phil Farrell sang comic songs. Miss Carrie Sanderson and Miss Sadie Ackerman recited in a phasing manner.
