Nicholas John "Nick" Anoe, age 27, of St. John, IN and formerly of Lynwood, IL, passed away at home on Friday, October 2, 2009.

Beloved son of Rick and Gail (nee Ninkovich) Anoe; loving brother to Kelly; playful uncle to Raychel; maternal grandson of Steve and Rose (nee Starcevich) Ninkovich; paternal grandson of the late Richard and Viola Anoe; treasured nephew of Michael (Deborah) Ninkovich, Diane Ninkovich Krepp, and Carol (Robert) Borowski; cousins left to cherish his memory: Laura, Rob, Ryan, Bethany, Kaitlyn, Michelle, Steve, Meghann and Cameron along with many extended cousins, family and dear friends. Nick loved his pets Maggie, Kobie and Molly and also the Chicago White Sox.

He was born in Munster, IN on June 18, 1982. He attended Heritage Middle School and graduated with the class of 2000 from Marian Catholic High School of Chicago Heights, IL. Nick also attended Southern Illinois University for three years.

Nick was a member of the Ironworkers Local Union #1.

His smile, warm presence, and generosity will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved Nick.
