A private memorial service will be held for James Calvin Bradfield, 74, of Decatur.
Bradfield died Monday, Feb. 22, 2009, at his home.
Born Jan. 4, 1935, in Marion, Ind., to Edward and Mary (Stevens) Bradfield, he married Faye Pearson Feb. 10, 1986, in Denton. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Dallas County Sheriff's Office after 23 years of service.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Tomi Navarro and husband, Armando, of Mesa, Ariz., and Toni Williams and husband, Ricky, of Red Oak; nine grandchildren; and two sisters.
