Donald Alexander Brown, age 70, of Taylor's Chapel Rd., died Oct. 25, 2001.
Funeral services were held Oct. 28 from the chapel of Bilbrey's Funeral Home
with burial in Taylor's Chapel Cemetery, Bros. Hyle Waldo and Larry Robbins
officiating.
Mr. Brown was born June 6, 1931, in Cumberland County, the son of Oza and
Cordie Belle Catron Brown. He was a Cumberland County Road Department
employee and member of the Vandever Baptist Church and had been a minister
for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Brooks Brown; sons Jerry Brown of
Jefferson City, Gary Brown of Auburn, KY, and Larry Brown, Bruce Brown and
Danny Brown, all of Crossville; and daughters Katherine Parris of Crossville
and Donna Patterson of Sevierville.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters
Edna Bertram, Mable Lewis and Dorothy Lewis, all of Crossville; and brothers
William (Buddy) Brown and Wayne Brown, both of Crossville.
Pallbearers were grandsons Terry Brown, Eric Brown, Joe Brown, Will Brown,
Jeffery Brown and Travis Patterson.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
