A native of Bartow County, Mrs. Farmer was born Aug. 14, 1912, a daughter of the late Harvey Dangler and Lucy Grizzle Dangler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Farmer and a brother, H.Y. Dangler. She was a member of Cassville Baptist Church and was a housewife.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Fussell of Cartersville, three sons, Dennis and Ed Farmer of Cassville and Ronald Farmer of Knoxville, Tenn., two brothers, John and Will Dangler of Adairsville, three sisters, Mellie Herod of Adairsville, Minnie Clemmons and Nettie Edwards, both of Cartersville, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m. from the Cassville Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Finger officiating. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery
