Dr. Adams was Assistant Director of Agricultural Checmicals at the Carbide Tech Center in South Charleston, WV. A native of Dallas, TX, he had graduated from Southern Methodist and Duke Universities, and held several patents in the insecticide field. He was traveling to Kansas City on company business, and was one of the transfer passengers from TWA flight 69. Dr. Adams left behind a wife, three sons, and a daughter. He was also an elder at the Highlawn Presbyterian Church.
