He was survived by his parents and Sister Alma Louise McMahon Mayfield of Garland, Texas, his nieces Jana Denise Mayfield Creel, Shari Ann Mayfield Stokes and his nephew Joseph Ray Mayfield, all of Garland, Texas, his cousin Ruby Miller of Houston, Texas and many other relatives of the McMahon,Hamlin and Miller families.
