Born to the later Zula Pearl Johnson Adams. He was educated in Early County. He left Early County at a young and and moved to Miami, FL. He became a long distance truck driver. Later he met and married the late Vera Smith Adams. In the early 70's Walter and family related to Orlando, Florida. There he worked for Orlando International Airport for 22 years. He became known as "Airport" by many friends in the Orlando area. After retiring from the airport Mr. Adams moved back home to Early County in 1999. He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, Mavin Adams and a sister Dorothy Adams Robinson. He leaves to cherish his mrmory 9 children; Sharon and Sharona Smith of Washington, D.C.; Louis Adams (Ora), Helen Mays (Nathaniel), Mickel Adams and Linda Adams all of Orlando, Florida; Terry Adams of North Dakota; Regina Adams (Ryan) of New York. He also leaves a sister, Carolyn Wright (Garfield) of Chicago, IL; 2 sister-in-laws, Rita Scott and Jennie Johnson of Washington; 2 special cousins, Azzie Williams and Bertha Coleman both of Blakely; a god-sister and brother, Gladys and Ralph George of Blakely. Also left to cherish his memories are his grandchildren, Tony, christian, Darius, Cheryl, Tanesha, Marvin Jr., Amari, Keith Jr., Lisa, Charmaine, Belinda and Tanyele all of Orlando, FL.; Kerrington and Terry Jr. of North Dakota; William, Rodney and Jennie all of Miami, L. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
