Born to the parents of the late Mr. Plemon Askew Sr. and the late Mrs. Juanita Fordham Askew. He received his education in the Bibb County Public School Systems and received a Degree of Green Hand in The Future Formers of America. He was a participant in the Reserve Officers Training Corp in 1981 and went on to graduate from Central High School in 1982. He joined the US Army Reserve and completed Basic Training in 1982. He continued his service in the Army Reserve and received an Honorable Discharge in 1988. He worked for Macon Water Authority where he advanced his career by receiving numerous certificates from 1985 to 2000. He worked for the City of Atlanta from 2000 to present. He was the CSO Remote Site Manager in the Bureau of Wastewater Treatment and Collection at Intrenchment Creek. Albert was a great employee and a true gentleman, and he will be truly missed by his family, many friends and co-workers.
