Actress. Born, Miriam Bilenkin in Dayton, Ohio, she made her stage debut at the age of 13 in a Los Angeles production of "Patsy". In films, she debuted opposite Buster Keaton in "Steamboat Bill, Jr." (1928). She also appeared in many Hal Roach screen shorts such as "Girls Demand Excitement" and "Broadway Babies". Her final film was "Five of a Kind" (1938).
