Vickie Lynn Gulley Chase, 58, of Florence, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

She was born Dec. 9, 1950, in Batesville, the daughter of Victor H. and Mary Ellen Gould Gulley. She was raised in Aurora and Switzerland County and was a graduate of Patriot High School. She was employed at the U.S. Shoe factory in Vevay for several years. She was employed as a process technician for the plastic molding factory in East Enterprise for 12 years. She was a member of the Truth Apostolic Church in Vevay. She enjoyed reading, taking pictures, horses, flowers and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Dale "Rick" Chase, whom she married Aug. 26, 1967; twin sons, Rod Chase of Florence and Todd Chase of Fairview; one daughter, Chrissie Stewart of Rising Sun; two sisters, Kim Gulley of East Enterprise and Lonna Davies of Moores Hill; two brothers, Steve Gulley of Crittenden, Ky., and Brian Gulley of Vevay; two half brothers, Tony Gulley of Herman, Mo., and Butch Gulley of Lawrenceburg; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Beverly Ann Smith; and her grandparents, Arnold and Verna Graves Gould.

The funeral was at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21st at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial in New Liberty Cemetery in East Enterprise.

Friends called at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20th.
