Justin Clayton, 20, of Madison, died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 25, 1988, in Madison, the son of William Clayton and Connie McClain. He was a 2008 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and was studying business at Ivy Tech Community College in Madison.

He is survived by his father, of Osgood; his mother, of Madison; one sister, Sally Clayton of Milton, Ky.; one half brother, William Clayton of Tennessee; one half sister, Heather Freeman of Osgood; his maternal grandfather, Alex McClain of Centralia, Ill.; and his maternal grandmother, Ramona Farrell of Versailles.

The funeral was at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.

Friends called at the funeral home Tuesday, June 16, 2009, from 5 p.m. until the time of service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Holton Christian Church.

Survivors include his father William Clayton of Osgood; his mother Connie McClain of Madison; one sister Sally Clayton of Milton, Kentucky; half-brother William Clayton of Texas; half-sister Heather Freeman of Osgood; maternal grandfather Alex McClain of Centralia, Illinois; maternal grandmother Ramona Farrell of Versailles. Mr. Clayton was a 2008 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and was a currently a student at Ivy Tech in Madison studying business. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16th at 7pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Robert McCreary of the Holton Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 5pm. Memorials may be given to the Holton Christian Church.
