Richard Alan Baker, 68, of New Washington, died Monday, June 15, 2009, at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.

He was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Clark County, the son of Frank and Rose Lemons Baker. He retired as a forklift driver at Reliance Electric.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Franklin Baker; two sons, Rick Baker of Charlestown and Chris Baker of New Washington; two sisters, Sharon Powers of Charlestown and Betty Millay of Louisville, Ky.; and one grandson.

A memorial service will be private.

Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington is in charge of arrangements.
