She was born Nov. 14, 1935, in Garden City, to Eugene and Lillian Seymour Farnsworth.
A lifetime resident of Garden City, Mrs. Burnett was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian faith.
On Jan. 2, 1953, she married Eul Burnett in Raton, N.M. He survives. Other survivors include four sons, Randy, Reg, Ron and Russ Burnett, a daughter, Rhonda Anderson, and a sister, Delma Green, all of Garden City; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Russell Farnsworth; and an infant sister, Pamela Sue Farnsworth.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, officiated by Von Hunn, pastor.
