Last Rites for Mrs. Fannie Anderson
---Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Anderson were held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 22nd in the Higby Mortuary in Aurora. The Rev. Dawson Park, pastor of Aurora Methodist Church conducted the service.
---Mrs. Anderson, the former Fannie Garrett, was born in Kansas on Dec. 18, 1874 and died Wednesday March 20 at Denton, Texas at the age of 83 years, three months and two days. She was one of eight children.
---She was the widow of Rev. Moses Anderson, a former pastor of the Giltner Methodist Church who died in 1934. She mad made her home with a daughter and family, Dr. and Mrs. Walter Hanson of Denton for the past three and one-half years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Ceresco, Nebr.
---Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Walter Hanson of Denton, Mrs. Pansey Sinnet, Newport Beach, Calif., Mrs. Faye Hummel, Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Carol Samuelson of Ceresco; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Edith Grogan of Grand Island.
---Interment was in the Aurora cemetery.
---Mrs. Clara Garrett of Giltner is a sister-in-law of Mrs. Anderson, John Stahlnecker is a nephew and Mrs. Lee Shike is a niece.
