The remains were brought to the home here from which place the funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. J. H. Edge on Sunday. Interment was made in the Lake Park cemetery.

Lila Belle Alberts was born in Bureau county, Ill., on July 5, 1892, and passed away at Woodward, Iowa, May 30, 1923. She suffered with much illness up until she was twelve years of age, after which time she was in the best of health until about five years ago her childhood affliction again returned. For the past few years she has suffered much and up until her mother passed away in March, she gave almost her entire time and attention to the daughters comfort. Following the mothers death she was taken to the sanitarium at Woodward, Iowa, where she seemed to be constantly improving until about ten days prior to her death when she suffered with a severe hemorrhage.
