My father, how we miss him so much. He was the greatest Dad and Grandad that ever lived. I hear so many wonderful compliments I am proud that he was my Dad. And I know for sure he was very proud of the way me and my daughter turned out in life. He showed us unconditional love. We are still discovering and learning all that he talked about. He loved war memorabilia and loved history. He loved teaching history to others as well. He was beyond interesting to listen too. So many people have told me that he was a genius.
He was loved by people in all walks of life, helped so many, and had many friends. He owned and operated a successful vending machine company which still is in operation today. Being a Vendor, My dad loved Coca Cola and he collected Coca Cola memoribilia for many years.
His grandaughter,Amanda and him were very close. He had lots of hopes of being with her one day on the red carpet. He passed away because the surgeon who operated on his stomach (he had cancer) made a mistake. My Dad was in the most excurciating pain--pain that most people could not bare. He tried to hold on as long as he could, but because he had lost so much weight, he was losing his strength as well.
One year after he passed, Amanda began filming an action movie in which she stars in, "Blood Sun Town". There is a scene where she fights the evil criminals who have her friends tied up and are torturing them in which she has to shoot her way out in order to free and save her friends.
These pictures uploaded are from a photoshoot in Hollywood, Ca. where he coached his grandaughter at her very first photoshoot. We all had so much fun together that day, lots of good memories and fantastic pictures.
My dad's brothers are Roger Betts (R.I.P) and
Ronnie Betts, of Fallbrook, CA. His daughter, Lora Betts, was his only child and his only grandaughter, Amanda.
Nieces and Nephews Cathy, Kenny, Mike & Terry,Gary, Cheryl,

Gary went to Gardena High School and loved to get into "fights" with Chuck Norris. LOL :)
