ATKINSON, ELAINE CONWAY age 84, of Helena, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010, at The Hospice of West Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clettus Atkinson and daughter, Vikki Jo Atkinson.
Survivors include her daughter, Rita Richards (Jim), Son, Gene Atkinson (Laura), grandson, Bill Heath (Ceil), great grandson, Andrew Heath and special friend, Sandy Hudson. Graveside services will be held at Highland Memorial Gardens Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m..
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Hospice of West Alabama or The American Cancer Society.
