Mrs. Mary Frances Helms Black , 69, of Charlotte died April 3, 1994, at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Harvest Church of God, Mint Hill. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen Funeral Home, Mint Hill chapel.
Mrs. Black , a Charlotte native, retired as a Chadburn Hosiery Mills boarder after more than 20 years. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors are her son, Otto Black III; daughters, Mrs. Barbara Eason of Nokesville, Va., Mrs. Rebecca Lewis of Mint Hill; sisters, (Twin Sister) Mrs. Martha Childers of Kannapolis, Mrs. Alma G. Fincher Dulin of Mint Hill; five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Otto Brice Black JR., Mother Margaret Belle Miller Fincher White Helms Father Carrie M.
