Salvatore Michael Amore of Northford, Ct died November 6, 2002 in Nancy, France. He was 43 years of age and the husband of Jeanne Meyers Amore. Michael was born in New Haven June 30, 1959 a son of the late Salvatore and Susanne Brueckner Amore. He was a 1977 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He went on to become a Certified Public Accountant in his own firm Salvatore Michael Amore CPA. He received his MBA from Quinnipiac University in 2001 and was an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Quinnipiac. An adventurous person, Michael was best known for his dry sense of humor and calm and compassionate demeanor. He was a true family man who had nothing but the greatest love for his wife and children. He also shared a very special bond with his mother Susanne. Michael was a magician, a member of the Notre Dame High School Alumni Band and had served as a eucharistic minister at St. Louis Church in West Haven. He was the father of the late Emily Jeanne and Michael Bernhardt Amore and brother of Darrin J. Amore of Orange and Rollin V. Amore of Washington, DC. Relatives and friends may call at St. Augustine Church, 30 Caputo Road North Branford,CT, Friday November 15 from 4-8pm and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Church on Saturday November 16 at 10am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Amore Family Memorial Trust, c/o Citizens Bank 430 Foxon Road East Haven, CT 06513.
