Ed Arakelian suffered a heart attack while doing his daily walk, and never recovered; he was 67 years old. He had suffered with heart problems for a number of years previously. He was survived by his wife, Lois (Campbell) Arakelian. Ed retired from the DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY in Washington, D.C. with some 30+ years of service-- probably some five years previous to his death.
