She was born April 19,1929 in Bolivar to Robert L. Simpson and Ina Estella Coggin Simpson. She attended Sanger High School, Chenier Business College, she was a member of the Sanger Historical Society and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sanger.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 11 a.m.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007 at DeBerry Funeral Directors.
She is survived by two sisters, Velma White of Durant, Oklahoma and Maggie Britt of Lincoln, Nebraska; and one brother Doug Simpson of Dallas.
She is preceded in death by five sisters.
DeBerry Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Bolivar Cemetery Association.
