JAMES O. HIBBITTS
James O. Hibbitts, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hibbitts, was born December 7, 1900, in St. Francois County, Mo., and passed away at his home in St. Louis on May 4, 1951, following a heart attack suffered at the CIO International Union of Electrical Workers, of which he was a representative, earlier in the afternoon, death having come at five o'clock.
Mr. Hibbitts had lived for the past thirty years in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Miss Helen Seyb, of St. Louis, in June, 1923. To this union three children, two sons and a daughter, were born. He is survived by his wife and three children, James O., Roger and Nancy Hibbitts, of St. Louis; one sister, Edith (Mrs. Oscar) Chatman, of Farmington; one brother, Milo Hibbitts, of St. Louis; two half-brothers, Allen and Tom Hibbitts, of Farmington; two half-sisters, Mrs. Aubra Breene, of Arkansas City, Kans., and Mrs. Ina Ridgway, of Reno, Nevada; also many other relatives.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 7th, at 2:45 p. m., from the Fuetz Undertaking Establishment, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
