Services are Monday at 10 a.m. at West Side Cemetery for Ronald Lee Adkins, 512 Philippine St., who died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 1941 in Christiansberg, Virginia and had lived in Taft for six months. Prior to that he lived in Albuquerque, N.M. for many years and was an active member of the American Legion Post No. 49, Past Commander, and a counselor at Boys State, N.M. He was employed by Continental EMSCO in Taft as a Pump repairman. Survivors are his wife, Charlotte of Taft; three daughters, Becky, Taft; Laura, Albuquerque; and Theresa, Taft; his parents, Mr and Mrs. Leonard Adkins, Taft; five brothers, Ralph, Randy, and Ricky, Kentucky; Bobby, San Diego; and Robin, Taft; two sisters, Brenda Hyden, Kentucky; Nina Decker, Taft; two in-laws, Mr and Mrs. Joseph Sprague, Illinois; and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harding, Taft. Erickson and Brown handled arrangements
