Burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Palestine, Texas was under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home. She was born February 1, 1941, in Palestine to Martin Z. and Ruby Payne Sammons. Mrs. Adams was a graduate of Palestine High School. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Palestine for many years before moving to Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Richard V. Adams Jr. Mrs. Adams is survived by a brother, M.Z. Sammons and wife Martha.
