Francisco Acosta. Committed by Horace Templeton Judge of San Mateo Co. August 14th 1869. Age not stated; native of Mexico; single; occupation, laborer. The evidence of insanity is general incoherency of speech; is neither homicidal, suicidal nor incendiary. This attack appeared in 1854; disease increasing - is rational seemingly on some subjects; has the hallucination that he is 39 years of age and growing younger; has no disposition to injure others; filthy in his habits, uses tobacco; has been injured on the head - no change in health since the attack; cause of insanity, injury of the head from a fall from a horse; class, mania; no treatment.
Condition of patient when received about the same as represented above.
Admitted August 21st 1869. Has no property. Died June 26th 1870 of Consumption.
