Celestia was the daughter of Margaret Edwards and George Crowson. She married James Albright on 16 Sep 1856 and they had one known child in 1858 before her death in 1861.

Following was published in the Fayetteville Semi-Weekly Observer (Fayetteville, North Carolina), September 2, 1861, p. 3: DIED, In Greensboro', August 24th, Mrs. SUSAN CELESTIA ALBRIGHT, wife of James W. Albright, Editor of the Times. The deceased leaves a husband and two infant children, together with a large number of relatives and friends, to mourn her departure. She was a lady of cultivated intellect, being a graduate of Greensboro' Female College, and a most amiable, generous disposition.—Greensboro' Patriot.
