MRS. ABERNETHY DIES WEDNESDAY AT ALTONA HOME
Mrs. Kate Abernethy, 74 years old, died at the home of her son, Ralph, here, at 11:30 Wednesday evening. Death was due to complications existing for some time, but the end was sudden.
Mrs. Abernethy had long been a resident of Altona and vicinity, living in the town for many years, and then moving to the country. When her health occurred she was visiting her son in town.
Surviving her are two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Viola McGann of Altona, Mrs. Mattie McGann of Altona; Ralph and Ray of Altona, and Mylo of Victoria.
The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Abernethy homestead. Burial will be in the Altona cemetery.
