Football Player. He is remembered as the first British football player to score in a European Cup final, and he was considered by many to be one of the true legends of Scottish football. Tommy was famously known as one of the famous Lisbon Lions, and was a member of the Celtic Football Club that won the European Cup in Lisbon, on the May 25, 1967. In his later years Tommy suffered ill-health due to diabetes and circulation problems, and on the March 2, 2017, he sadly passed away after a long illness.
