SOUTH BEND - Michael Morgan Ferriter, 27, of South Bend, passed away at 10:38 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, in his residence. Michael is survived by a daughter, Hailie A. Charmat; his mother and stepfather, Judy and Jerry Ingram of South Bend; his father and stepmother, Conrad and Jaqueline Ferriter of Carleton, MI; a sister, Michelle (Jon) Zimmer of Elkhart, IN; two stepsisters, Jessica Hamilton of Columbus, OH, and Erika Hamilton of Granger, IN; a brother, Matthew S. Ferriter of South Bend; three nephews, Scott and Jacob Smith and Dustin Zimmer; and a niece, Carly Smith. Michael was employed by Inter Plastic Molding Products in South Bend prior to his death. His wishes were to be cremated which his family honored. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9th, in Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at W. Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family form 3 to 5 p.m. prior to the service. Pastor Ervin Mize will officiate at the memorial service. Michael was a hard-working, loving son who cared dearly for his family as they did him. He will be missed by a loving family and numerous friends. Life was short for Michael, but his memories will live forever.
