We rescued our sweet Sofie when she was about two months old. She was very sick but quickly recovered as she was cared for by her sister Penny. Sofie was our special girl with a high-pitched, soft meow and sweet disposition. She loved all of us but especially my husband Brad; she waited patiently each night for him to get in bed so she could lie on his chest.
She and her sister Penny were very close. They would 'play-fight' one minute but would be cuddled up together sleeping the next.
Sofie's death was a shock to us as she was only eight years old. She had a stroke and died in my arms on June 22, 2006. Penny was never the same afterwards and we all still miss her so much.
