William A. ‘Bill' Fleming, 54, Indiana National Guardsman

Funeral services for William A. "Bill" Fleming, 54, of New Albany will be at 1 p.m., Monday, May 19, at the St. Marks United Church of Christ, 222 E. Spring St., New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was born July 10, 1953 to the late Ernest and Bertha Burden Fleming in New Albany. He was a 31-year employee with the New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School System, served in the 151st Battalion Indiana National Guard, and was a member of St. Marks United Church of Christ in New Albany.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Johnson Fleming; children, Brieanne Fleming and Michael Noe, both of New Albany; grandson, William Zackery Fleming; brothers, Lawrence Plummer and wife, Mary, New Albany, James Plummer, Jeffersonville, and Jerry Plummer and wife, Reba, Scottsburg, and sisters, Joan Murphy, New Albany, and Sherry Stiller and husband, Carl, Floyds Knobs.
Visitation at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday.
