Funeral services for Daniel "Danny" G. Cunningham, 48, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, New Albany. He died Monday, July 6, 2009, at Green Valley Care Center, New Albany.
He loved life, and was very special to all that knew him.
Survivors include his mother, Fern Cunningham Lawson, of New Albany; two brothers, Roy L. Cunningham Jr., of Corydon and Ronald L. Cunningham, of Palmyra; four sisters, Sandy K. Farnsley, Sherry Reid and Tammy Thrasher, all of New Albany and Mamie Farnsley, of Georgetown; stepfather, Dan Lawson, of New Albany; three stepbrothers, Danny, Ricky and Ronnie Lawson, all of New Albany; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy L. Cunningham Sr.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
