Myrtle M. Austin, 92, of El Dorado, homemaker, died Sunday, July 13, 1986.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethany Baptist Church in rural
Sedgwick. Burial will follow at the Star Cemetery in rural Burrton.

Mrs. Austin was born Feb. 4, 1894 at Patterson and was married to Miles
Austin on Jan. 13, 1915 in Burrton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 13,
1980. The two moved to Halstead in 1975 from Butler County and Mrs. Austin
returned to El Dorado about six years ago.

Survivors include sons, James of Towanda, Neil of Eureka, Robert and Roger,
both of Severy, and Miles of Alamosa, Colo.; daughters, Josephine Smith of
Tracy, Calif., Harriet Tabor of Salina and Betty Jo Worthington of Eagle
River, Alaska; sister, Frances Frey of Peck; and 31 grandchildren, 78
great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial has been established with the Bethany Baptist Church in rural
Sedgwick.

Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
