Death Comes To William L. Bailey

William L. Bailey, 76, a resident of El Dorado since 1902,died at 312 West Sixth early this morning after an illness of several years. He was a retired farmer.

Mr.bailey was born Sept. 2, 1873, in Nodaway county, Mo. Before coming to El Dorado he lived in Berry county, Mo. He was married to Nancy Rose but she died in 1909. Mr. Bailey is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ann Brumback, El Dorado and Mrs. Geo. V. Brokaw, Wichita.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Byrd Funeral Home.

Bailey Rites Saturday

Funeral services for William L. Bailey of 312 West Sixth, will be held at the Byrd Funeral Home, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. C.W. Hildebrand of the El Dorado Christian church will officiate the interment in Belle Vista cemetery.

Services Held for William L. Bailey

Funeral services for William L. Bailey were held this morning at the Byrd Funeral Home. Rev. C. W. Hildebrand of the Christian church officiated and the Gold Star Mothers attended in a body.

Mr. Bailey died March 28 after living here since 1908. His home residence was 312 West Sixth. Arlie Cartwright, James and Theodore Harvey, Howard Hayes, Alfred Morgan and Russell Essex were pallbearers. Mrs. H. W. Bullerdick sang two solos, "Old Rugged Cross," and "Crossing the Bar".

Interment was in Bella Vista cemetery.
