Bobby Adamson, Sr., age 73, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his home. He was born July 24, 1939, in Juniata, Nebraska to Harold and Myra Trublood Adamson. He was a Music Minister at Meyers Road Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Assistant Fire Chief of Milford for seven years, served on Milford City Council for two terms and a member of the Milford Cemetery Association. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, enjoying hunting and fishing. He loved gardening and working on Hot Rods. He also had a passion for old cars and telling stories and jokes. He enjoyed trips to Louisiana to play the slots and owned a working slot machine.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Nelda Adamson. Survivors include three sons, Bob Adamson, Jr. and his wife Laura of Milford; Lewis Adamson and his wife Melissa of Midlothian; Alex Adamson and his wife Amber of West; daughter, Elizabeth Evans and husband Scott Kitchens of Houston; seven grand children, Chelsea Adamson Cook, Amber Brown, Eric Adamson, Jennifer Adamson, Bianca Evans, Kyndal Stephens, and Alexis Adamson; three great grandchildren, Josea Adamson Cook, Xavier Adamson Cook, and Gabriel Adamson; brother, Harold Lee Adamson of Frost; two sisters, Diann Norris of Emmett and Caroline Martin of Streetman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Milford with Pastor Steve Gilley officiating. Pallbearers were Alex Adamson, Charlie Norris, Lewis Adamson, Bob Adamson, Jr., Eric Adamson, Mike Coker, and Scott Kitchens. Honorary Pallbearers were Duffy Douglas and Jimmy Hux. Interment was in the Milford Cemetery on January 27, 2013.
