Etta was the daughter of Otto & Louisa Hesher, one of eight children, born in Gypsum, KS. She married "Ray" in 1910 and together had five children [Rozella, Ivadel, Harry, June & Robert]. Three of her children served in the armed forces during WWII. Harry & Bob in the US ARMY AIR CORP. June in the US MARINE CORPS. Her son Harry was killed in a transport plane crash while stationed in England with the USAAC. Her husband operated J. R. Adams & Sons Moving & Storage Co. of Independence, MO.
