She was born in Spyk, Netherlands, on September 2, 1887, the daughter of John and Grietje Siekman Bos.
She came to the U.S. in 1892 and settled in Manhattan. She received her schooling in the Manhattan area.
She married Simon Cole in 1909 and they lived on the same farm until his retirement in 1947. He died in 1971.
She was a charter member of the First Lutheran Christian Reformed Church in Manhattan.
She is survived by four sons, Garrett, John, Walter and Bernard, all of Manhattan; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at First Christian Reformed Church.
Burial will be in the Church Hill Cemetery.
