ANDERSON, M. Elinor July 14, 1926 ~ Jan. 14, 2006 It is with sadness, we announce the passing of Elinor at the age of seventy-nine after a long yet courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her illness she continued to be an inspiration to us all, showing incredible strength and fortitude, never losing her spirit, love of life or her sense of humor despite all that she faced. She was the daughter of the late Gilmour and Annie Anderson of Woodlawn. Survived by her loving brother Hugh Anderson (late Muriel) and sister Elaine Munro (late Charlie). Predeceased by sister Beatrice Strong (late Mervyn), brother Ross (late Edna) and Flight Lieutenant Bill Anderson. Cherished Aunt of many beautiful nieces, nephews and their families. Resting at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel St. N., Arnprior. Memorial funeral service will be held in the Boyce Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Meg Illman-White. Interment in Lowry Cemetery, Marathon Village. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
