Luther Red, 83, of Sarah, MS, passed away on March 18, 2016 at Sardis Community Nursing Home in Sardis, MS. He was preceded by his son, Anthony Andrew Red. He is survived by his wife, Emily Jeniece Red of Sarah, MS; sons, George (Buster) Red of Senatobia, MS, Samuel Barry Red of Rome, GA; sisters, Marie Henderson of Senatobia,MS, Jane Cluts of Senatobia, MS, Ruth Greenwood of Sarah, MS; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Any memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation. Mr. Red was a Mason and Shriner for many years and also a certified international clown. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the Marines.
