Age 44, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
She worked in the Fraud Division at Wilmington Trust for over 5 years, and M&K Bus Service for 18 years.
Katie enjoyed NASCAR Racing, and Micro Sprint Racing. She was an avid Phillies fan.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother.
Katie is survived by her husband, Dennis DeLong of 22 years; her children, Justin, Erin, Jessica, and Dennis, III; brother, Donald Landmesser; her sister, Nancy Garner; many nieces and nephews; and many devoted friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen Funeral Home, 34 West 6th St., New Castle, on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 8 pm. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 pm Thursday evening. Interment is private.
