Great Farmer,loving father and grandfather and a wonderful husband.He grew up in East Texas.He began farming to make a living and he grew some of the biggest and best tasting watermelons,and Tomatoes,peas,corn,you name it he grew it.He worked long hours in the field.During the winter,he hunted deer.He loved his children and grandchildren.He always brought us candy when he went to town.He also owned and ran a full service gas station for a few years,but sold it because it interferred with his farming.He loved to put peanuts in his coke.He would have a couple a day.He loved candy also,and always had some for us kids.He loved my Grandmother,so much,I'v never seen such love and devotion since.He had several hunting dogs and he treated them like they were his kids.He would pamper them and spoil them.Come hunting season he was gone deer hunting.He went hunting one afternoon with a friend,they were in the woods and he just dropped dead with a heart attack.He passed away doing what he loved to do most.You can rest now Daddy Curtis,you and mommanem are together now.I love you.Rest in HEAVENLY PEACE.
