Mariamma Abraham, Pottakulathu, Keekozhoor, Ranny, at the age of 94 passed away in Rowlett, TX, on July 28, 2016. She was born February 13, 1922, in India to Parayil Philipose and Aleyamma John. Mariamma was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was very close to her family and will be dearly missed. Mariamma was survived by sons, Philipose Abraham, Samuel Abraham, James Abraham, and Simon Abraham; daughters, Jainamma Kuruvilla, Elizabeth Thomas, Esther Zachariah, and Ruth Thomas; brothers: George Parayil (Oklahoma), Ammanni Kurien (Florida), and Pennamma Joseph (India); and she was blessed with 30 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, P.P. Abraham; son, John Abraham; and grandson, Charles James. Services were held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Rowlett chapel, followed with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
