Mr. Homer E. Bessonette, 78, of Bogue Chitto, died July 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County on December 1, 1937.
Mr. Bessonette served his country in the United States Air Force and he was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Earnest Leon Bessonette and Glayds Thomas Bessonette;brothers, Malcolm Bessonette, Lonny Bessonette, Rudolph Bessonette,Charles Bessonette and Junior Bessonette; sister, Elsa Lee Bessonette; and son, Daniel Paul Bessonette.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Leon Bessonette, Homer Bessonette,Thomas Bessonette, Shane Bessonette; daughters, Robin Lutea, Dorain Faveior;brother, Freddie Bessonette; and sister, Evelyn Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Justin Bessonette, Jeffrey and Chris Lutea, Melissa Bessonette,Thomas Laiden Bessonette, Evan Lee Bessonette, and Brianna White and one great grandchild, Kayleanaa.
