Surviving are two daughters: Shirley Burdick and her husband, William of the Villages, FL, Marjorie Joss of Dracut, MA; grandnephew: Chad Axton of Auburn; sister: Arlene Babcock of Moravia; nephew: Donald Babcock; niece: Bonnie Babcock; several other nieces and nephews; four grandchildren: Amy Wielar and her husband, Todd, Christine Houser and her husband, Kevin, Douglas Burdick, Susan Joss; four great-grandchildren: Lily and Jack Wielar, Abby and Dylan Houser. In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by his wife, Florilla Axton; brother, Laverne Axton; and sister, Lona Pethybridge.
Friends are invited to call from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 30 at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn with a masonic service at 5 p.m. A funeral service will he held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 31 at the Trinity Church of Christ, Union Springs with Reverend Michelle Pantoliano. Interment: Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Union Springs.
